This 24-second short animation was created for the LED screen at the KT Flagship Store in the West Building, celebrating the renewal of the space and tracing KT’s 140-year history through iconic communication technologies such as the Joseon-era telephone, public phone booths, Hitel, IPTV, mobile devices, and AI.
A long-take camera motion emphasizes the continuity and evolution of this technological journey, connecting past innovations with present advancements in a single seamless flow. The piece reflects on how communication has shaped human experience, evoking both nostalgia and anticipation for the future.이 작품은 KT West 빌딩 플래그십 스토어의 LED 스크린을 위해 제작된 24초 길이의 단편 애니메이션이다. 공간의 리뉴얼을 기념하며, 조선시대 전화기에서 공중전화 부스, 하이텔, IPTV, 모바일 기기, 그리고 AI에 이르기까지 KT의 140년에 걸친 통신 기술의 역사를 하나의 장면으로 엮어낸다.
롱테이크 카메라 무빙을 통해 기술의 흐름과 시대적 전환이 끊김 없이 이어지는 느낌을 주며, 관객이 시간의 흐름 속을 함께 이동하는 듯한 감각을 만든다. 각 시대의 오브젝트들은 당대의 감성을 함께 담아 디자인되었으며, 과거의 향수와 미래에 대한 기대를 동시에 불러일으킨다.
이 작품은 ‘소통’이라는 주제를 중심으로, 기술이 사람과 사람을 연결해온 KT의 여정을 기념하고, 앞으로의 연결이 나아갈 방향을 조용히 상상하게 한다.
